Rules You must Never Break In Casual Dating

No strings attached relationships can be liberating in many ways. If what you are looking is simple satisfaction of our sexual desires, then a casual relationship is what you should consider if you do no find the arrangement wrong.

However, if you do not want the relationship to end bitterly, there are rules you must never break.

 Rule 1 – Never get attached. It is a no string attached arrangement and as so it should always be for as long as it lasts. The last thing you want is to start developing feelings for someone who will never look at you seriously or love you. If you do not want to get hurt, keep off casual sex relations unless you can keep your emotions in check. Walk away as soon as you start feeling attached! Rule 

2 – Never be jealous. There is really no room for getting jealous when you are in this kind of a relationship. You must be okay with seeing your partner flirting with others or getting cozy with others. Their personal relationships are not significant in any way, you are not lovers you are simply sleeping partners. If you can't handle this, then you had better start looking for a more serious relationship! 

Rule 3 – Do no favors, ask no favors. Petty favors have no place in a casual relationship. Never ask your partner to help you with the groceries on their way home or to bring you ice cream and such favors. On the other hand, you should not give in any favors. Let them offer you something when they want, but not from you asking for it. And when it comes to exchanging gifts, there should be limits too! 

Rule 4 – Never talk about your feelings. Even when you are going through a rough patch in life, avoid sharing this with your casual partner or making them listen to you and console you. Sure, you will need to have conversations in between the sex, but let them be about general things and not about your lives. Don't expect them to be the shoulder you need to lean on when time are tough otherwise you might just end up getting attached. 

Rule 5 – Never allow any type of manipulation. It is very common to have dominant parties in relationships. If you want to have a healthy sexual relationship with your partner, then never allow them to dominate you in any way. You should actually be bothered by any powers the person has over you because it could mean you are falling in love or you are already in love with them. It is best that you walk away as soon as this starts becoming evident. 

Rule 6 – Don't make yourself too available. It may be a casual relationship where you are both there to satisfy each other's sexual needs but when you end up seeing each other too often, then it can be hard not to be emotionally involved. Schedule your encounters in such a way that they leave no room for misplaced feelings. The sex will actually be better when you let your desires burn high!
